Life's too short not to do everything.

So this isn't really a portfolio. It's just stuff.
Sometimes real engineering, and sometimes for fun.
But I made it all.

After College

Bus Timetable Display

I moved to Germany for work where I take the bus everyday. I was tired of missing early buses and waiting on late ones, so I called the public transit API on a Raspberry Pi. While I was at it I put Spotify on there too.

Valentine's Day Gift

I had a few months left on my Adobe subscription after college, so I took a cute picture, extracted the lines in Illustrator, and found out the local library had a laser cutter. Made my own engraved picture display.

Supercharged Fog Machine

In college I fogged out our entire apartment as a prank. It was slow and took forever but it was worth it. My roommates hated it. So naturally, if the opportunity ever arises again, I need to be able to do it like a professional.

College

Formula Electric

I was the suspension lead for our formula electric team. I designed and fabricated the first working suspension in 3 years while leading and teaching a team of 15 students. 4 hub motors, 600V battery, 80kW total power output.

Infinity Mirror Pong Table

I was in an engineering fraternity in college: Triangle. We had a lovely makerspace with 3D printers, a CNC router, laser cutter, and more. So I took a semester to build a beautiful, techy table to see what I could do with everything available. For me, this was an art project.

Electric Boat

Senior design project. Got to make a sick boat — 20,000 RPM on 12S LiPo batteries.

Gain Controller Reaction Wheel Pendulum

The last class for my electrical minor. Hard work, but really fun.

Hoverboard Electric Wheelchair

A month left in junior year and classes were slowing down. My frat had random wheelchairs lying around, and hoverboards are fun. So I put them together.

Internships

Door Seal Applicator @ Tesla

I designed and prototyped a semi-manual door seal applicator for future Model Y medium output assembly lines.

Sliding Boat Display @ Brunswick

My very first internship! I learned a lot here, and my last project was to build a motorized sliding display for a mini expo, where I worked with the UI team.
